As of January 1, 2020, government of Quebec has modernized the rules for accommodation in public establishments, particularly in CHSLDs. In particular concerning the RDSP:
Registered disability savings plan (RDSP)
This amount is now excluded until the sums can be cashed in without a penalty. Furthermore, if the sums are converted to a life annuity, an exclusion applies up to the maximum amount of $950 per month.
